Our starting point is simple.

Black girls are not waiting to become powerful. They need spaces that recognize, protect, and develop the power already within them.

OUR STORY

It began with a question: What would change if Black girls were truly centered?

Leading Ladies of Legacy was founded from a conviction that Black girls deserve more than programs that merely include them. They deserve experiences intentionally designed with their identities, voices, brilliance, and futures at the center.

What began as a vision for mentoring and empowerment has grown into a commitment to build affirming pathways through literacy, leadership development, social-emotional learning, sisterhood, and service. We partner with families, schools, and communities to help girls know who they are and understand the difference they can make.

Our name is our promise. Every girl is a leading lady, and every leading lady is creating a legacy through how she learns, leads, loves, serves, and shows up in the world.

We cultivate confident, capable, community-minded Black girls.

Through identity-affirming mentoring, literacy, leadership, and enrichment experiences, we equip girls to use their voices, pursue opportunity, serve their communities, and build legacies that reach far beyond themselves.
